The Three Little Pigs Hook Day
Teamwork
During PSHE this week we have been working as a team to build a tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows. We knew that we had to listen carefully to each other, take it in turns and help each other out when it got a bit tricky. It was a hard task but the winning group was able to build a tower that was 72cms high. Great teamwork, 1TM!
Verbs!
In English we have been learning about what a verb is. We know that it is an action or doing word. What verbs are these children acting out?
Caring for our world....
In RE we have been finding out about how the Muslim and Sikh communities in Coventry and Leamington have been planting trees to show how they live out their values. They are following guidance from their spiritual leaders and their holy books to look after and care for our world. We decided that we could plant some apple seeds and we hope that they grow into big apple trees 🌳 🍎🍏
Musical Fun....
Gareth from Withers Music has been teaching us all about different musical instruments. We had to listen carefully to the music that he played for us and we had to guess which musical instruments we could hear. We had a fantastic time!
